Hi friends!

I am seeking 12 writers of color to join us in creating a fantasy anthology book that will feature powerful, original stories rooted in imagination and soul.

Your story can be about anything as long as it is rooted in fantasy and has a powerful life lesson entangled throughout it. 

These stories will not be retellings of any myths or fables you have heard before. I am looking for something completely NEW! A new generation of bedtime stories, myths, and tales that will be shared amongst future generations.

Application Fee

  • $25 Application Fee is required. This contribution will support editing, design, self-publishing, and marketing expenses. This contribution ensures the book is created and shared at the highest quality.

  • Once you have submitted your application scroll down to donate to “Support the Vision” and pay your fee there. If it is not paid, your application will not be reviewed.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Open to writers of color of any age and location.

  • Submit a sample of your fantasy writing (short story, poem, book excerpt, or essay) that best showcases your creative artistry. Limit: 3 pages max.

  • SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS APRIL 30TH, 2026
